NEON CATS / STELLA MCCARTNEY / FALL 2017

It was always important for Stella to stay on the fun side of fashion. The feline theme in the collection revered the ‘Fur Free Fur’ slogan, and the cats symbolize Stella’s love and dedication for animals.

The colours of the collection are reflected in the neon. The layered pieces of acrylic and neon create the different forms of the cats, the layered forms appear different at every angle unless viewed directly from the front or back. The cats were auctioned to raise money for Battersea Dogs Home and PETA.
