WHAT IF? / SELFRIDGES / LONDON

Children aged 5-12 were called upon to imagine what the future would look like, and asked a series of ‘what if…’ questions. Children responded by sending in their illustrations and descriptions of the future, and these were used to inspire the run of windows. We then collaborated with Shona Heath to turn the children’s (eccentric) phrases and sketches into window displays. The use of found objects, recycled materials, and DIY art tools enhanced the Selfridges work-in-progress aesthetic of the overarching Super Futures theme and united the different whimsical dreams…
